JJ’s Hostel Mirissa is set on a large lush property, affording ample space for fun activities and relaxation as well as plenty of extra features in addition to your comfortable accommodation.

Fully equipped guest kitchen and refrigerator. Cool your drinks or store food to prepare your own home-cooked meals. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster along with various cooking equipment and basic condiments for your convenience.
Yoga Shala – Join our yoga classes in a purpose-built shala or use your own mat at your convenience. More information about our yoga classes.
Rooftop – Our expansive open rooftop is perfect for star-gazing, yoga classes and watching sunsets. The rooftop contains two large day-beds, many benches and power outlets.

Hammocks & Beanbags – Who doesn’t love these? The yoga shala has two extraordinarily comfortable hammocks and many beanbags under ceiling fans for those lazy days when you want to catch up on emails and social media or just read a book. Monkeys visit frequently and this is the perfect place to view them.
Board Games – Having a night in or the tropical weather is temporarily interrupting your beach time? We have you covered with a large range of well-known board games, including our new championship quality carrom boards! Learn to play the game that is known as table billiards. Carrom Rules.
Library – We have a range of multi-language books for guests to use during their stay. You are welcome to exchange a book.
Hair-Dryer and Ironing Board – Available on request.
Laundry Service – This is for in-house guests only and is subject to capacity on the day. We will wash and hang your laundry for drying. We do not iron your clothes.
Printing Service – Need something printed? Ask at reception and we can do it for a nominal charge.
Secure onsite car parking however you roll….car, tuk or motorbike.
Cats – Yep, we have five friendly and talkative cats that are very well cared for and vaccinated. KK (left) and her four kids Biggsy, Chooty, Tiger (right) and Handy.
